Book Review – One Plus One by JoJo Myers

by MumsiblesG

I’ve read a book by JoJo Myers before called Me Before Myself (click here for the full review) that I quite liked and so was quite excited about reading another from her!

If you’ve been following my book reviews, you’d know that I love to follow on authours. And why not, their style remains the same, so that means that you could possible enjoy the way the story reads, if not anything else!

In anycase, One Plus One by JoJo Meyers is an unconventional lovestory between Jess, a cleaner and Ed, her one time employer who helps out by taking her whole family on a car trip to Scotland for Jess’s daughter to attend a Math Olympiad that can potentially help her get into a private school.

One Plus One by JoJo Myers reads very easily and is a not one of those steamy romance novels. Instead it does explore human relationships subtly. What I am saying is that, if you are looking for easy read, this is it.

One Plus One by JoJo Myers Goodreads Synopsis

One single mom. One chaotic family. One quirky stranger. One irresistible love story from the New York Times bestselling author of Me Before You

Suppose your life sucks. A lot. Your husband has done a vanishing act, your teenage stepson is being bullied and your math whiz daughter has a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that you can’t afford to pay for. That’s Jess’s life in a nutshell—until an unexpected knight-in-shining-armor offers to rescue them. Only Jess’s knight turns out to be Geeky Ed, the obnoxious tech millionaire whose vacation home she happens to clean. But Ed has big problems of his own, and driving the dysfunctional family to the Math Olympiad feels like his first unselfish act in ages . . . maybe ever.
