Leather Forecast- Are you ready ?
Leather, has lost its image of being a jewelry staple for rockers, bikers and other bad boys only and has become a main stream jewelry staple. Designer brands Gucci, Hermes, Alexander McQueen and top jewellers David Yurman, Ole Lynggaard and others are now creating beautiful leather bracelets and cuffs.
A huge appeal of leather is its relatively low price and the way in which it can be used in a 100 differernt ways. Real leather improves with time, is durable and now comes in a whole host of types and qualities including python leather, stingray leather, lambskin and vegan leather. The leather finishes as well as colours available online are astounding.
The international jewelry community forecasts that leather bracelets with charms will be a big jewelry hit for 2015. If you are keen on being fashion forward this is a look that you should consider embracing. Style the bracelet by stacking with other stone or precious metal bracelets for an edgy cool look.
Beautiful python and calf leather bracelets in which the edginess of the leather is in prefect contrast to the dainty charms. A luxe copy worthy style for sure.Picture courtesy of Kranz and Ziegler Story

This 7 part trends analysis has been compiled based mainly on the JCK list of 12 major trends as appearing on The JCK website (1) but has been cross checked by researching international fashion and jewelry websites and magazines, going through pictures of major designers runway shows and looking at international street style photos online. A job I have much enjoyed.
