Kid’s Book Review – Cat in The Hat

by Mumsibles G

There are some book’s whose magic not only touches kids, they touch the parents and for me this is one such book. I remember Junior being quite small when we first started reading, actually he had just started learning his alphabet and was starting to read three letter words! And this book helped a lot. Lyrical short sentences. Easy for little readers to figure out and understand the lines.

The funny story line and big pictures do their part in making this book a lovely read for little ones! I truly do recommend this book as either a bedtime or story time book and it totally encourages little readers to read! Please make sure you get your copy πŸ™‚ synopsis: Poor Dick and Sally. It’s cold and wet and they’re stuck in the house with nothing to do . . . until a giant cat in a hat shows up, transforming the dull day into a madcap adventure and almost wrecking the place in the process! Written by Dr. Seuss in 1957 in response to the concern that “pallid primers [with] abnormally courteous, unnaturally clean boys and girls’ were leading to growing illiteracy among children, The Cat in the Hat (the first Random House Beginner Book) changed the way our children learn how to read.

Till Next Time!
