Morning sickness… Worst nightmare or manageable? How are you coping with it?

Manageable…just off and on, not at all regular. Stopped exactly at the 3 month mark like clockwork.

How did you find out about being pregnant?

It was planned…so we were looking forward to it…

Are you finding if you are having a girl or boy?

Yup found out and it’s a BOY!!!

Working while you are pregnant, how are you handling it?

First trimester was a bit of coping with the changes and the nausea BUT had it easier compared to all the horror stories I’ve heard about morning sickness!

Second trimester was a breeze. TONS of energy and just feeling great overall.

In to the 3rd now and can already feel the energy levels going down and not being able to get everything done as before…which can be pretty frustrating! That’s been the biggest challenge, not having the energy to do as much as I would like to…but helps to have a fantastic boss and fabulous work colleagues who make life so much easier.

What do you do to relax?

Just being home and chilling out with the husband.

How are you keeping yourself fit during your pregnancy?

The pregnancy yoga classes with Nitya at Aurora Yoga Studio have definitely kept me sane…plus the usual work out at home…also I think being at work and doing what I possibly could, has kept the energy levels up

Eating healthy…hubby and the rest of the family have made it a breeze to make sure bubs gets all the nutrition needed and spoiling me completely! Loving every bit of it!

Beauty during pregnancy? Any disasters? Where are you frequenting to keep your skin and hair beautiful?

Thankfully not had any big changes in this area let alone any disasters to worry about…

Kess and Skin – Niluk and Deepa work miracles as always!

Skin care regime? Do you find you need to use any new products to take care of yourself during pregnancy?

Nothing out of the ordinary…

Any weird cravings?

No…No particular cravings at all for that matter!
Just want everything. All.The.Time!

Back rubs and foot massages, does hubby comply?

Thankfully yes, he’s been amazing as he always is! Would have been a complete pregnant drama queen if not for him! (Of course some days it’s a bribe of a back rub or foot massage in return :) )

What kind of clothes are you wearing to work?

Casual mostly…have had the luxury of not ‘dressing up’ each day to work.

What are your pregnancy essentials?

Babycentre and Dr. Miriam Stoppard updates amongst others have been great. Have managed to keep most paranoia attacks at bay and interesting to keep track of everything.

Palmers Tummy butter has managed to keep the stretch marks away…at least for the moment!

What factors influenced you when choosing your gynecologist?

Talking to family and friends and getting their opinions, some special opinions helped a lot in deciding.

More importantly meeting the doctor and being comfortable with him almost immediately was key.

How are you preparing for your bubs arrival?

Reading on everything I possibly could, thinking let me prepare ourselves…but know that you’ll never really be prepared for it?!

Hubby and I are also spending a lot of ‘alone time’ and enjoying what maybe the last of those just ‘you and me’ times.

What is your nursery theme?

Cars!!!
Not a huge surprise with my car fanatic – amazing race car driver husband :)
One thing I wasn’t really left with much of a choice :)

So C-Section or Normal?

Normal

What’s the weirdest thing someone asked you about your pregnancy?

Are u SURE you know what you’re getting yourself in to!?!?!
